About Blossom Tree Nursery School

About you

You are currently a Room leader / Third in Charge / Lead Early Years Educator with a strong awareness of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, Child development and, Safeguarding and you're looking for a new role, in a new team in a supportive, growing company.

What you'll be doing

As a lead educator, you'll be responsible for creating a vibrant, interesting learning environment, planning a curriculum designed to create learning through play. 

You will use your natural child-centered approach, to encourage a love of learning through high quality teaching under the EYFS framework.

You will collaboration with your team to ensure exceptional journeys are provided for children and their parental engagement.

Other responsibilities will include;

• Quality teaching under the EYFS framework
• Ensuring all children are kept safe and have rich stimulating experiences
• Building relationships with the team to create an inspiring working environment
• Leading, motivating and inspiring the educator team
• Being the third in command in the nursery after the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager
• Identifying areas of change and improvement, and ensuring implementation

What you'll need

• A full and relevant Level 3 or above qualification within early years
• Sufficient experience as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner) or with children under the age of 5
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
