Field Based, rotating between a group of nurseries

About the role:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Regional Education Manager to look after our South West region covering North Somerset, Bristol, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset.
As Regional Education Manager you’ll ensure a culture of excellence, high standards and continuous improvement across your region. Providing targeted support to a regional group of nurseries to ensure the quality for education is consistently high and continually improving. You’ll be a pedagogical leader, with a passion for education and a bias for coaching.
As part of this role, you’ll deliver targeted improvement support in line with quality improvement plans, for nurseries going through a period of change or challenge. As well as delivering specific training depending on the needs of the nurseries with your region – including but not limited to inset days, team meetings and 1-1 training. You’ll be coaching teams to deliver outstanding education, developing an understanding, confidence and skills of team members from Apprentices to Nursery Managers.
You will also:
- Ensure Ofsted readiness by conducting spot checks of compliance with policies and procedures, and building confidence and understanding of Ofsted inspection processes
- Provide hands -on role modelling of outstanding teaching & curriculum delivery, bringing the curriculum and pedagogy to life, and supporting teams to work in partnership with parents on their children’s learning
- Working in partnership with the Regional Operations Manager, ensure a consistent and complimentary approach, and constructively feedback on any observed operational challenges
- Respond rapidly and robustly to any feedback received including feedback from Storal Framework Audits and external quality visits
- Feedback training needs to the Learning & Development Manager, providing feedback on the effectiveness of training programmes
About you:
- Full driving license
- Proven experience of nursery management with strong knowledge of the EYFS and Statutory requirements
- Experience of achieving Ofsted Outstanding results
- Proven experience leading quality in a multi-site role
- Experience in delivering training
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Hold an Early Years qualification at Level 3, preferably Early Years Degree/EYTS
- Ability to coach
- Ability to operate in multiple settings and travel to multiple settings
