Nursery: Willow Tree Nursery School, Essex, CO15 

Hours: Part Time, 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: £11.50 per hour based on experience and qualifications

About you

You have a Level 2 qualification in Food & Hygiene with previous experience in a similar role and a passion for preparing nutritionally balanced, freshly prepared meals.

What you'll be doing

• Providing balanced and nutritional meals for all children attending the nursery and catering for children with specific dietary needs
• Instilling Storal Values to Food and Hygiene and complying with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health-Food Safety, Health ad Safety and within the guidelines of Ofsted
• Taking responsibility for the safe and hygienic management of the nursery kitchen.
• Ensuring all children are kept safe and have rich stimulating experiences
• Maintaining stock levels and ensuring stock rotation
• Being aware of COSHH and following relevant guidelines
• Deputising for the Cook in all absences with the expectation of deputising full time when this is required

What you'll need

• Level 2 qualification in Food and Hygiene
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role
• Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH
