Hours: 15 hrs per week, Monday-Friday 2.30pm-5.30pm
Salary: Up to £11.50 dependent on qualifications and experience

About you
You are an passionate, ambitious Assistant Nursery Chef/Cook who loves to prepare nutritionally balanced, freshly prepared meals and would be happy to take responsibility for the safe and hygienic management of our nursery kitchen.

What you'll be doing
As a Assistant Nursery Chef/Cook, you will be responsible for providing balanced and nutritional meals for all children attending the nursery and catering for children with specific dietary needs.

You will maintain stock levels, and ensure stock rotations whilst also, ensuring compliance to Food and Hygiene legislative requirements.

You will;

• Ensure all children are kept safe and have rich stimulating food related experiences
• Adhere to COSHH and follow relevant guidelines
  
• Deputise for the Cook in all absences with the expectation of deputising full time when this is required

What you'll need

• Level 2 qualification in Food and Hygiene
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role
• Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH
• Reflecting the Storal values around responsibility, openness and working together
