Job Title: People Administration Assistant
Contract Type: Fixed Term – 4 Months (with potential extension)
Start Date: Immediate Start
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
Location: Office-based, Long Eaton (must be commutable)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised People Administration Assistant to support our HR/People team on a fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and an eye for detail to contribute to the smooth running of our people processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Data entry and maintaining accurate employee records
- Archiving and organising personnel files
- Auditing personal files to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Scanning, uploading, and electronically storing documents
- Supporting general HR/People administration as required
- Meeting deadlines and ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard
Skills & Attributes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Confident using computers and a variety of software systems
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines
- Professional, reliable, and proactive approach
Requirements
- Previous administration experience desirable (HR/People admin advantageous but not required)
- No childcare or early years experience required (although beneficial)
- Must be available to start immediately
- Must be able to commute daily to Long Eaton office
Contract Details
- Fixed-term contract: 4 months, with potential to extend if required
- Full-time hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm)
- Office-based role (not remote or hybrid)
