Hello, I’m Becky, the Nursery Manager at Blueberry.

My team and I bring a wealth of early years insight, and we’re passionate about inspiring children to be inquisitive, imaginative, and confident learners. In our stimulating environments, children quickly develop a true love of learning and a naturally curious mind.

We are incredibly proud to say we’ve achieved three consecutive Outstanding ratings from Ofsted, thanks to our experienced and long-standing team. We’ve developed meaningful partnerships with local care homes and Community Wardens, bringing wonderful enrichment opportunities for our children and fostering a real sense of community connection.

Our newly refurbished open-plan baby room offers a beautiful, safe, and inspiring space where our youngest children can explore, play, and learn in a way that suits their individual needs. About the role: 
 
A Forest School Leader plans, delivers, and manages outdoor learning sessions, fostering children’s development while ensuring safety and promoting the Forest School ethos: 

· To plan, prepare and deliver a range of Forest School sessions with children across the school. To further develop and promote the Forest School

· To plan and deliver the Forest School Curriculum through weekly sessions to year groups of children as specified at agreed times in the year.

· To deliver weekly Forest School Nurture group provision to support children's specific social, communication, behaviour or wellbeing needs.

· To promote the values and ethos of the school

· To provide appropriate advice and guidance to volunteers or support staff assisting with sessions

About you: 
 

• A true love for child development and care 

• Able and willing to work in a team 

• Ability to communicate effectively with management, your peers and parents 

• High levels of care and empathy that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity 

• Knowledge of the EYFS framework 

Must haves:  

• Forest School Lead qualification

• Early Years qualification at Level 2/3 

• Experience working with all age groups within Early Years
