Hours: Monday - Friday, Part Time 30 hours per week, Maternity cover until 31st January 2026
Salary: £12.50 per hour
Hello, I’m Tracy, the Nursery Manager at Main Street.
With 28 years of experience working with children of various ages across different settings, I’m proud to lead a long-serving, close-knit team. Together, we have created a very homely and welcoming environment where every child feels valued and supported.
Our gardens are designed to cater to all ages, featuring flower beds, a vegetable patch, and a real shop area—offering hands-on learning experiences that inspire curiosity and creativity. Inside, our cosy nursery fosters a warm, home-like atmosphere, with special spaces where siblings and friends can see each other throughout the day.

About the job:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our established team and be in a pivotal position to enable the smooth running of the nursery as a whole.
You may one day be in a customer facing position, responsible for welcoming parents and children, to liaising with all nursery and head office employees the next.
Due to the varied nature of the role you must have superb customer service capabilities, combined with an ability to pick up new systems quickly as we use a bespoke nursery management system.
About you:
Excellent knowledge and understanding of IT systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel)
- Strong organisational skills
- Flexible
- Proven track record in a financial administration role involving invoicing, credit control, and managing petty cash
- Understanding the importance of safeguarding
- Excellent communication skills
