Role Overview
The Project Manager (Property) will lead and coordinate strategic and operational projects across the business. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the organisational goals & brand standards. Projects may include refurbishments, organic openings, systems implementation, operational improvements, compliance projects, and cross-functional business change programmes.
The successful candidate will work closely with leadership teams, operational managers, nursery teams, and external suppliers to manage delivery from planning through execution and completion.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery.
Lead multiple internal projects simultaneously across operational and business functions.
Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and delivery milestones.
Track progress and proactively manage risks, blockers, and dependencies.
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within agreed scope.
Coordinate project meetings, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
Maintain project documentation and governance processes.
Stakeholder Management.
Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to define project priorities.
Act as the central point of communication between teams and external partners.
Build strong working relationships across operations, finance, HR, IT, marketing, and nursery management teams.
Provide regular updates and reporting to leadership.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and business processes.
Support implementation of new systems, tools, and workflows.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
Support teams through organisational and operational changes.
Assist with communication plans, training coordination, and adoption strategies.
Ensure smooth transition during implementation of new initiatives or systems.
Reporting & Administration
Produce project status reports and dashboards.
Monitor budgets and resource allocation where applicable.
Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and timelines.
Skills & Experience
Required
Proven experience in project management, (buildings).
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proficiency with project management tools, Teams, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
Knowledge of operational improvement or change management.
Desirable
PRINCE2, Agile, PMP, or equivalent project management certification.
Experience within childcare, education, multi-site operations, or hospitality sectors.
